- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to protect the firm's assets and ensure employee and client safety.
- Monitor and analyze security systems and respond to any potential threats or breaches.
- Investigate and report any security incidents or breaches, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies to continuously improve the firm's security posture.
- Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security.
- Manage access control systems and ensure appropriate permissions are granted to authorized personnel.
- Maintain and update security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and address any gaps or weaknesses.
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning and exercises.
Extensive Experience In Security Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Security Operations, With A Strong Understanding Of Industry Best Practices And Emerging Trends.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Security Tools And Technologies: The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Various Security Tools And Technologies Such As Siem, Intrusion Detection Systems, Vulnerability Scanners, And Endpoint Protection, Along With Hands-On Experience In Implementing And Managing Them.
Strong Incident Response And Crisis Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Managing Security Incidents And Crises, With The Ability To Quickly Analyze And Respond To Threats And Minimize Their Impact.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Security Operations Specialist, The Candidate Will Need To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders, Requiring Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Convey Technical Information To Non-Technical Audiences.
