Job Description

McKinsey & Company is looking for an outstanding Provider Performance Improvement Specialist to join our team. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and innovative individual who is eager to help us improve the performance of our healthcare provider network. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in healthcare operations, provider performance management, and provider contracting. They should be comfortable engaging with stakeholders, utilizing data analysis and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement, and have a proven track record of driving performance in a healthcare setting. They should also have a passion for working in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable operating in a highly matrixed organization. The successful candidate will be a critical player in helping McKinsey & Company reach its strategic goals and objectives. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, provider performance management, and/or provider contracting • Proven ability to develop and implement innovative solutions for improving performance • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in data analysis and analytics • Experience working in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrixed organization • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement innovative solutions for improving provider performance
  2. Utilize data analysis and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement
  3. Engage with stakeholders to ensure successful performance outcomes
  4. Monitor and track provider performance metrics
  5. Develop and maintain provider contracts
  6. Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers
  7. Analyze performance data and create reports
  8. Prepare presentations to senior leadership
  9. Develop and manage provider performance improvement initiatives
  10. Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure successful outcomes
