Media Relations Coordinator

-Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to promote McKinsey's brand and thought leadership -Create and execute media relations strategies to increase visibility and coverage of McKinsey's initiatives and projects -Work closely with consultants and other internal stakeholders to identify and develop compelling story angles and pitches -Coordinate and manage media interviews, press releases, and other media opportunities -Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to identify potential opportunities and risks -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and positioning across all media channels -Stay up-to-date with industry news and developments to proactively identify potential media opportunities -Assist in the preparation and review of media materials, including press releases, media kits, and briefing documents -Manage media inquiries and maintain a positive and professional relationship with journalists and media contacts -Track and report on media coverage and metrics to measure the success of media relations efforts -Handle any crisis communications and manage media responses in a timely and effective manner.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Media Relations, Preferably In A Corporate Or Agency Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Media Landscape And Ability To Develop And Maintain Relationships With Key Media Contacts.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Craft Compelling Messages And Pitches For Media Outlets.
Experience In Crisis Communication And Ability To Handle Sensitive Information With Discretion And Professionalism.
