
Consultant - Purchasing and Procurement

- Conduct thorough analyses of clients' supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement strategies for clients to drive cost savings and improve overall efficiency.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on best practices in supply chain management and purchasing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new supply chain processes and systems.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and effectively managing their expectations.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing findings and recommendations.
- Monitor and track progress of supply chain initiatives and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in supply chain management and procurement.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to support their professional development.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to McKinsey & Company's values and standards at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Purchasing And Procurement, Preferably In A Consulting Or Corporate Environment.
Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Use Data To Drive Decision-Making.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With Experience In Managing Client Relationships.
Knowledge Of Procurement Best Practices And Experience In Implementing Strategic Sourcing Initiatives.
