  1. Conduct thorough analysis of clients' purchasing and procurement processes to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans and recommendations to optimize purchasing and procurement processes.
  3. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their goals.
  4. Utilize strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data, and present findings to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in purchasing and procurement to inform recommendations and strategies.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of projects and initiatives.
  7. Communicate effectively with clients at all levels, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  8. Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform strategy development.
  9. Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges in purchasing and procurement processes.
  10. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and make adjustments as needed.
  11. Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  12. Represent McKinsey & Company as a thought leader in the field of purchasing and procurement.
  13. Mentor and coach junior team members to develop their skills and expertise in purchasing and procurement.
  14. Travel to client sites as needed to support project work and build relationships with clients.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Suppliers.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Procurement Or Purchasing Roles, Preferably In A Consulting Or Corporate Setting.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Identify And Implement Cost-Saving Strategies.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Global Sourcing And Supply Chain Management Practices, As Well As Experience With Procurement Tools And Technologies.
