The candidate must also possess a degree in accounting, finance, law, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

1. Oversee and manage the compliance monitoring program, ensuring that all applicable laws and regulations are met.
2. Analyze regulations and assess the potential impact on the company’s operations.
3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Monitor and review compliance issues to ensure the firm is in compliance with all relevant regulations.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and keep abreast of changes in the regulatory landscape.
6. Prepare and present reports to senior management on compliance monitoring results.
7. Lead and manage a team of compliance professionals.
8. Provide training to employees on regulatory issues and best practices.
9. Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues.
10. Draft and update policies and procedures relating to compliance.
