As a Category Manager for IT Professional Services at McKinsey & Company, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our consulting projects by managing our IT services category.   1. Develop and implement strategies for IT service procurement, vendor management, and cost optimization.
  2. Collaborate with partners and clients to understand their IT service needs and provide strategic recommendations.
  3. Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in IT services.
  4. Manage relationships with IT service vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal pricing and service delivery.
  5. Monitor and analyze IT service spend and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  6. Develop and maintain a strong network of IT service providers to ensure access to the best resources for our projects.
  7. Work closely with project teams to identify IT service requirements and ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In It Professional Services Management, Preferably In A Consulting Firm Or Similar Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of It Industry Trends And Best Practices, With The Ability To Develop And Implement Innovative Solutions For Clients.

  • Proven Track Record Of Managing Complex Projects And Large Teams, With Exceptional Organizational And Leadership Skills.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Abilities, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Clients, Team Members, And Stakeholders At All Levels.
