Job Description

McKinsey & Company is looking for an experienced and creative Associate Director of Ethics to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ethical standards and for developing strategies to promote ethical behavior within the organization. The successful candidate will be a team-oriented leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Qualifications for this role include a master’s degree in ethics, legal, or related field, at least 5 years of leadership experience in ethics and compliance, and a deep knowledge of ethics principles, standards, and laws in the industry. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess a strong commitment to ethical values, a demonstrated ability to remain impartial and objective, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop strategies to promote ethical behavior within the organization.
  2. Ensure compliance with ethical standards and laws in the industry.
  3. Ensure that the organization remains impartial and objective.
  4. Liaise with stakeholders and other relevant parties to ensure ethical standards are met.
  5. Develop and implement initiatives to improve the organization's ethical practices.
  6. Monitor and review internal policies and procedures to ensure they are in compliance with ethical standards.
  7. Provide guidance and training to staff on ethics and compliance.
  8. Investigate and respond to complaints and allegations of unethical behavior.
  9. Prepare reports on ethical issues and trends.
  10. Remain updated on changes to ethical standards, laws, and regulations.
