- Provide expert legal counsel on all employment-related matters to the company and its clients.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement company policies and procedures related to employment law.
- Advise on complex legal issues, including employment contracts, workplace discrimination, harassment, and equal opportunity.
- Conduct internal investigations and provide guidance on disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure legal compliance in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations and provide guidance on how they may impact the company.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings related to employment matters.
- Provide training and guidance to management and employees on employment law and related issues.
- Work closely with outside legal counsel and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to employment matters.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Act as a mentor and resource for junior legal team members.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and compliant approach to employment matters.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Practicing Employment Law At A Reputable Law Firm Or In-House Legal Department
Strong Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Employment Laws And Regulations
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Communicate With Senior Leaders And Hr Professionals
Demonstrated Experience In Providing Strategic Legal Advice And Counseling On Complex Employment Issues, Including Discrimination, Harassment, Wage And Hour, And Employment Contracts
