- Provide expert legal advice and guidance on all employment-related matters to the organization.
- Develop and implement employment law strategies and policies in line with business objectives and legal requirements.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related contracts and agreements.
- Advise and support the HR team on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, terminations, and workplace investigations.
- Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure the organization's policies and practices are in compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver training on employment law topics.
- Manage employment-related litigation, including working with outside counsel and representing the organization in court when necessary.
- Monitor and assess potential legal risks related to employment practices and provide proactive solutions to mitigate them.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and government agencies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the legal team.
- Mentor and train junior team members on employment law matters.
- Uphold the organization's values and code of ethics in all interactions and work with integrity and professionalism.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Collaborate With Senior Executives And Hr Professionals
Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Practicing Employment Law At A Top Law Firm Or In-House Legal Department
Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws, Including Title Vii, Fmla, Ada, And Flsa
Demonstrated Ability To Manage A High-Volume And Diverse Workload, With A Focus On Providing Practical And Strategic Legal Advice To Support Business Objectives.
