Job Description

McKinsey & Company is seeking an experienced and diligent Assistant General Counsel to join our dynamic and globally recognized team. As a trusted advisor and key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing strategic legal counsel to our business leaders and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. To thrive in this role, you must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and have at least 5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department.   1. Provide strategic legal counsel to business leaders: As the Assistant General Counsel, you will be responsible for providing sound and timely legal advice to the company's business leaders. You will analyze complex legal issues and provide recommendations that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  2. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations: You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations and ensuring the company's operations are compliant. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
  3. Act as a trusted advisor: You will be a key member of the legal department and will act as a trusted advisor to the company's leadership team. This will involve building strong relationships and providing guidance on legal matters that impact the company's operations.

Demonstrate exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills: As the Assistant General Counsel, you will be required to analyze complex legal issues and communicate your findings effectively to various stakeholders.
