1. Conduct thorough research and analysis of real estate laws and regulations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
2. Draft and review real estate contracts, leases, and other legal documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
3. Manage and maintain real estate records and documents, including property titles, deeds, and surveys.
4. Communicate and negotiate with landlords, tenants, and other parties involved in real estate transactions.
5. Coordinate and assist in the closing of real estate deals, including preparing closing binders and coordinating with outside counsel.
6. Provide legal support and guidance to various departments within the company, including finance, operations, and construction.
7. Conduct due diligence and assist in the evaluation of potential real estate acquisitions and developments.
8. Stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations and make recommendations for necessary updates to company policies and procedures.
9. Collaborate with external legal counsel to handle complex real estate matters and ensure timely and effective resolution.
