- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for McDonald's Corporation, with a focus on identity and access management and architecture.
- Monitor and analyze current security threats and vulnerabilities, and make recommendations for preventative measures.
- Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of cybersecurity initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security gaps and implement appropriate solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security systems and tools to protect company data and assets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance the company's cybersecurity capabilities.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of cybersecurity programs, including any identified risks and recommended actions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other departments within the organization on cybersecurity matters.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cybersecurity.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the company's cybersecurity policies, procedures, and protocols to adapt to changing threats and technologies.
- Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and education among employees, promoting best practices and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Identify and manage budgetary needs for cybersecurity initiatives and investments.
- Represent McDonald's Corporation in industry conferences and events related to cybersecurity.
Extensive Experience In Cybersecurity: The Senior Director Must Have A Strong Background In Cybersecurity, With At Least 10 Years Of Experience In The Field. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Industry Best Practices And A Track Record Of Implementing Successful Security Programs.
Expertise In Identity And Access Management (Iam): The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Iam Principles And Technologies, Including Single Sign-On (Sso), Multi-Factor Authentication (Mfa), And Role-Based Access Control (Rbac). They Should Also Have Experience Implementing Iam Solutions In Large, Complex Organizations.
Experience In Architecture And Design: The Senior Director Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Enterprise Architecture And Experience In Designing Secure Systems And Networks. They Should Be Able To Develop And Maintain A Comprehensive Cybersecurity Architecture That Aligns With Business Goals And Objectives.
Leadership And Management Skills: As A Senior Leader, The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Managing And Leading A Team Of Cybersecurity Professionals. They Should Be Able To Motivate And Develop Their Team, As Well As Collaborate With Other Business Leaders To Achieve Common Goals.
Industry Certifications: Candidates Should Hold Relevant Industry Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Cisa. These Certifications Demonstrate A Commitment To Staying Current With Industry Trends And Best Practices And Validate The Candidate's Expertise In Cybersecurity And Iam.
