- Provide expert legal counsel on all global labor and employment matters to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Advise and guide the organization on legal requirements and best practices related to labor and employment.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential legal risks related to labor and employment.
- Oversee and manage labor and employment litigation and disputes.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements and contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance in all employment-related processes and policies.
- Monitor and report on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations that may impact the organization.
- Provide training and guidance to managers and employees on labor and employment laws and company policies.
- Work closely with external legal counsel when needed to handle complex legal matters.
- Participate in negotiations with unions and other labor organizations.
- Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation related to labor and employment matters.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings and administrative hearings related to labor and employment.
- Collaborate with the global Legal team to develop and implement consistent legal strategies and practices.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in labor and employment law to advise the organization accordingly.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience Practicing Labor And Employment Law At A Global Level, Preferably With A Focus On Retail Or Hospitality Industries.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School And Admission To The Bar In At Least One State.
Extensive Knowledge Of Global Labor And Employment Laws, Regulations, And Best Practices, With A Strong Understanding Of How They May Impact A Multinational Corporation.
Demonstrated Experience Advising Senior Leadership On Complex Labor And Employment Issues, Including Discrimination, Harassment, Wage And Hour, And Employee Relations Matters.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate And Influence Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
