- Develop and implement crisis communication strategies and protocols to effectively manage and respond to potential crises that may impact the company's brand and reputation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all crisis communication efforts and liaise with internal departments, external stakeholders, and media outlets as needed.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and scenario planning to identify potential crises and develop proactive strategies to mitigate their impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and timely messaging and alignment with the company's core values and mission.
- Monitor and track media coverage and public sentiment to identify potential issues or crises and develop appropriate responses.
- Prepare and train company spokespersons and executives for media interviews and public statements during times of crisis.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and influencers to proactively manage the company's reputation.
- Create and distribute crisis communication materials, including press releases, statements, and social media content, to effectively communicate the company's response and actions.
- Manage and update crisis communication plans and procedures to ensure they align with changing business needs and industry best practices.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in crisis communication and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Internal And External Stakeholders At All Levels.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Crisis Communications, Preferably In The Food Or Hospitality Industry.
Demonstrated Ability To Develop And Execute Comprehensive Crisis Communications Plans.
Strong Understanding Of Media Relations And Experience Managing Media Inquiries During Crisis Situations.
