McDonald's Corporation is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Tech Lead for our Restaurant Systems Management team. As the tech lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global restaurant systems, supporting our franchisees and customers. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is ready to lead and innovate in a dynamic environment. If you have a strong background in infrastructure management and a drive to constantly improve and optimize processes, then we want you on our team!

  1. Oversee and manage the overall infrastructure of McDonald's global restaurant systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
  2. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Restaurant Systems Management team.
  3. Identify and implement new technologies, tools, and processes to improve and optimize infrastructure management.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with franchisees and customers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
  5. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring minimal downtime.
  6. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  7. Conduct regular system audits and implement necessary security measures to protect against potential threats.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technology and system updates.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in infrastructure management to continually improve processes and systems.
  10. Train and mentor team members on new technologies and best practices.
  11. Manage and track project timelines and deliverables.
  12. Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
  13. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  14. Monitor and manage infrastructure budget and expenses.
  15. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Managing And Maintaining Various Restaurant Systems, Including Point-Of-Sale (Pos) Systems, Inventory Management Systems, And Kitchen Automation Systems.

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead A Team Of Technology Professionals And Oversee Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Infrastructure Technologies, Such As Networks, Servers, And Databases, And The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues In A Timely Manner.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Previous Experience In The Restaurant Industry, With A Strong Understanding Of The Unique Technology Needs And Challenges Of A Fast-Paced, High-Volume Restaurant Environment.
