  1. Develop and implement an effective government relations strategy to support McDonald's Corporation's goals and objectives.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with government officials and stakeholders at the local, state, and federal levels.
  3. Monitor and analyze government policies and regulations that may impact the company and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on government relations efforts.
  5. Represent the company in meetings, hearings, and other events with government officials and stakeholders.
  6. Advocate for the company's interests and priorities to government officials and stakeholders.
  7. Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior management on government relations matters.
  8. Develop and maintain a network of external partners and allies to support the company's government relations efforts.
  9. Stay updated on current political and social issues and how they may affect the company.
  10. Create and maintain reports and documentation related to government relations activities.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  12. Foster a positive and professional image for the company in all government interactions.
  13. Proactively identify potential risks and opportunities related to government relations and develop plans to address them.
  14. Attend industry events and conferences to stay informed and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  15. Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of government relations strategies and make recommendations for improvements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Political Science, Public Policy, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Government Relations, Lobbying, Or Public Affairs.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Government Processes And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Represent The Company's Interests To Government Officials And Stakeholders.

  • Strong Analytical And Strategic Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Identify Potential Policy Issues And Develop Effective Advocacy Strategies.
