
Cybersecurity Engineer II

- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to protect McDonald’s digital assets.
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor network and system activity for suspicious behavior and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Configure and maintain security systems and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-malware software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test security solutions for new applications and systems.
- Conduct security audits and penetration testing to identify weaknesses and recommend remediation actions.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats, and proactively make recommendations for enhancing McDonald’s cybersecurity posture.
- Train and educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and policies.
- Participate in incident response exercises to test and improve incident response procedures.
- Document and maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and remediation actions.
- Communicate with management and other stakeholders on the status of cybersecurity efforts and any potential risks.
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the availability of critical systems.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new security technologies to improve McDonald’s overall security posture.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Cybersecurity, Preferably In The Fast-Food Or Restaurant Industry.
Knowledge And Experience With Network Security, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, And Other Cybersecurity Tools.
Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Best Practices For Data Protection, Risk Management, And Compliance.
Relevant Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Ceh Are Preferred.
