We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief People Officer to lead our Asia Business Unit, which includes over 2,000 restaurants in 10 countries.   1. Develop and implement strategies to support the growth and success of McDonald's Asia Business Unit, in alignment with the overall company goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a team of HR professionals to ensure effective execution of HR programs and initiatives across the region.
  3. Serve as a key advisor to the executive team on all people-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including franchisees, employees, and external partners, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  5. Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for all levels of employees, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  6. Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization.
  7. Create and maintain a positive and engaging company culture, fostering a sense of belonging and pride among employees.
  8. Analyze and utilize data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in HR processes and practices.
  9. Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations in the countries within the Asia Business Unit.
  10. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the organization, promoting a culture of belonging and respect for all employees.
  11. Develop and manage the HR budget for the Asia Business Unit, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR, and incorporate them into the organization's strategies and practices.
  13. Act as a brand ambassador for McDonald's, promoting the company's values and mission both internally and externally.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and functions within the organization to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
  15. Lead and/or participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the executive team.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Global Hr Leadership Role, Preferably In The Asia Region.

  • Proven Track Record Of Implementing Successful Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion Initiatives In A Large Organization.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Local Labor Laws And Regulations In Asia, With Experience Navigating Complex Employment Issues.

  • Strong Understanding Of Talent Acquisition And Development Strategies, With A Focus On Building A Diverse And Inclusive Workforce.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Collaborate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
