
Associate Counsel- Labor and Employment

- Provide legal advice and counsel to the company on all labor and employment matters.
- Conduct research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance.
- Review and draft employment-related contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Represent the company in negotiations and disputes with employees, unions, and government agencies.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate legal risks related to labor and employment.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in labor and employment laws and provide guidance to the company.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment with company values and goals.
- Advise on employee relations issues such as discrimination, harassment, and accommodations.
- Conduct internal investigations and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Assist with training and educating management and employees on labor and employment laws and best practices.
- Work with outside counsel as needed on complex legal matters.
- Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation.
- Continuously evaluate and improve company policies and procedures related to labor and employment.
- Uphold ethical standards and promote a positive work culture.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the company and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Admission To The State Bar And In Good Standing.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Practicing Labor And Employment Law, Preferably In A Corporate Or Law Firm Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Labor And Employment Laws And Regulations, Including But Not Limited To Title Vii, Ada, Fmla, And Flsa.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Counsel Internal Clients On Labor And Employment Matters.
