1. Provide legal advice and counsel to the company on all labor and employment matters.
2. Conduct research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance.
3. Review and draft employment-related contracts, policies, and procedures.
4. Represent the company in negotiations and disputes with employees, unions, and government agencies.
5. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate legal risks related to labor and employment.
6. Stay up-to-date on changes in labor and employment laws and provide guidance to the company.
7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment with company values and goals.
8. Advise on employee relations issues such as discrimination, harassment, and accommodations.
9. Conduct internal investigations and make recommendations for corrective action.
10. Assist with training and educating management and employees on labor and employment laws and best practices.
11. Work with outside counsel as needed on complex legal matters.
