Analyst, Cybersecurity Operations (Detection & Response) L1

1. Conduct real-time monitoring and analysis of security events and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
2. Investigate and respond to security incidents, working closely with other members of the cybersecurity team.
3. Develop and maintain incident response procedures and playbooks to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and techniques, and provide recommendations for improving the company's security posture.
5. Collaborate with other teams within the organization, such as IT and compliance, to implement and maintain security controls and procedures.
6. Develop and maintain documentation and reports related to security incidents, investigations, and remediation efforts.
7. Participate in regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential weaknesses in the company's systems and networks.
8. Support the deployment and maintenance of security tools and systems, such as intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, and data loss prevention systems.
9. Monitor and respond to security alerts and notifications from various security systems and tools.
10. Conduct regular review and analysis of security logs and other data to identify potential security incidents.
11. Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
12. Provide training and support to other members of the cybersecurity team as needed.
13. Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates on security incidents and risks.
14. Proactively identify gaps in the company's security posture and recommend solutions to address them.
15. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information and systems.
