
Production Department Manager
McCormick & Company is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Production Department Manager to take our production operations to the next level. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about developing and implementing process improvement initiatives and meeting production goals. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual who can effectively collaborate with multiple departments and manage production staff. The Production Department Manager will have the opportunity to drive change and make a lasting impact on our production operations. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, engineering, or related field • 5+ years of management experience in a production or manufacturing environment • Proven experience in process improvement and lean manufacturing • Knowledge of production planning and control systems • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment If you possess these qualifications and think you are the right candidate for the job, we look forward to hearing from you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and motivate the production staff to meet production goals.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
- Analyze production data and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Monitor production equipment and ensure it is in optimal working condition.
- Develop and implement safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot production problems and take corrective action as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure raw materials are available for production.
- Create and maintain production reports and document production activities.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable and up-to-date on production processes and procedures.
