
Procurement Manager
At McCormick & Company, we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Procurement Manager to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about finding creative solutions to complex procurement issues and has the business acumen to develop and implement strategies that drive success.The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field, as well as 5+ years of experience in procurement, materials management, and/or supply chain. They should have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement processes and strategies, and should possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.If you’re the kind of person who loves a challenge, thrives on developing innovative approaches to procurement, and enjoys working with teams to find creative solutions, then this job is for you. We’re looking for a passionate and driven individual who can help us take our procurement processes to the next level.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement successful procurement processes and strategies to improve efficiency and cost savings.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and advantageous terms.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends and develop solutions to address areas of inefficiency and cost.
- Manage the procurement process from planning to completion, including tracking orders, monitoring deliveries, and resolving any issues that arise.
- Maintain records of all purchases and vendor contracts.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to procurement.
- Work with teams to identify and address complex procurement issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
