  1. Review and maintain safety data sheets (SDS) for all raw materials and finished products in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct hazard assessments and communicate any potential risks to relevant departments.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on SDS.
  4. Monitor and stay updated on relevant regulations and make necessary changes to SDS accordingly.
  5. Implement and maintain a system for organizing and managing SDS.
  6. Respond to customer inquiries regarding safety data sheets and product safety.
  7. Conduct audits of SDS to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  8. Develop and implement training programs for employees on SDS and product safety.
  9. Participate in product development meetings to provide input on safety and compliance.
  10. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of SDS management.
  11. Maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and stay updated on any changes or updates to regulations.
  12. Proactively identify potential safety concerns and provide solutions to mitigate risks.
  13. Collaborate with suppliers to obtain necessary safety data and ensure compliance with regulations.
  14. Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  15. Communicate any updates or changes to SDS to relevant departments and teams.
  16. Serve as a subject matter expert for SDS and product safety within the company.
  17. Attend training and workshops to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  18. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  19. Uphold company values and promote a culture of safety and compliance.
  20. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to SDS management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Chemistry, Environmental Science, Or Related Field

  • Knowledge Of Global Regulatory Requirements For Safety Data Sheets (Sds)

  • Experience With Sds Creation And Management Software, Such As Sap Ehs

  • Strong Understanding Of Hazard Communication And Chemical Safety Standards

  • Previous Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Food Or Flavor Industry.
