
DISTRIBUTION CENTER MANAGER II

- Oversee the daily operations of the distribution center, including but not limited to receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Lead and manage a team of distribution center staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Set and achieve performance goals for the distribution center, ensuring productivity and efficiency targets are met.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and sales, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and carriers to optimize delivery processes and costs.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock levels are maintained.
- Prepare and present reports on distribution center performance and present recommendations for improvement to upper management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements and suggest innovative approaches to improve distribution center operations.
- Foster a positive and productive work culture, promoting teamwork, open communication, and continuous learning and development.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Or Management Role In A Distribution Center Or Warehouse Environment.
Strong Knowledge Of Inventory Management And Distribution Processes.
Proficiency In Warehouse Management Systems And Other Relevant Software.
Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Departments.
