  1. Develop and execute strategic shopper marketing initiatives to support the brand and business objectives of McCormick & Company.
  2. Lead the development of innovative and effective shopper programs that drive sales and build meaningful connections with shoppers.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of shopper marketing efforts.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and consumer behavior to inform shopper marketing strategies and tactics.
  5. Manage the shopper marketing budget and ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  6. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of shopper marketing professionals.
  7. Conduct regular analysis and reporting on the effectiveness of shopper marketing initiatives, making recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  8. Foster relationships with key retail partners to identify shopper marketing opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
  9. Drive continuous improvement in shopper marketing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Represent McCormick & Company at industry events and conferences to showcase our shopper marketing efforts and stay informed on best practices and new developments.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Shopper Marketing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Shopper Marketing, Preferably In The Consumer Packaged Goods Industry. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Developing Successful Shopper Marketing Strategies And Executing Them Effectively.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Director, Shopper Marketing, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Team Members, As Well As The Ability To Manage And Resolve Conflicts.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Retail And Shopper Behavior: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Retail Landscape And Shopper Behavior. They Should Be Able To Analyze Market Trends, Consumer Insights, And Shopper Data To Develop Effective Marketing Strategies That Drive Sales And Increase Brand Awareness.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Director, Shopper Marketing Will Be Responsible For Developing Long-Term Shopper Marketing Plans And Identifying Opportunities For Growth. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Strategic Thinking Skills And The Ability To Identify And Solve Complex Problems.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Requires Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Internal Teams, External Partners, And Senior Management.
