  1. Collaborate with the Chief Enterprise Architect to develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy for the organization.
  2. Provide leadership and direction for the Enterprise Architecture team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  3. Oversee the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and principles.
  4. Stay current with industry trends and advancements, and apply them to improve the organization's technology landscape.
  5. Partner with other leaders and stakeholders to identify and prioritize technology needs and opportunities.
  6. Lead the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions.
  7. Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing technology systems and make recommendations for improvements.
  8. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to technology and data management.
  9. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the Enterprise Architecture team and across the organization.
  10. Develop and manage the budget for the Enterprise Architecture team.
  11. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting professional growth and development.
  12. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including presenting to executive leadership.
  13. Represent the organization at industry conferences and events, promoting Mayo Clinic's technology initiatives.
  14. Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for process optimization within the Enterprise Architecture team.
  15. Uphold Mayo Clinic's values and mission, and promote a culture of exceptional patient care and groundbreaking medical research.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Enterprise Architecture: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Enterprise Architecture, With A Proven Track Record Of Implementing Successful Enterprise Architecture Strategies In A Large Organization.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills: As A Vice Chair Of Enterprise Architecture, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Architects And Overseeing The Development And Execution Of Enterprise Architecture Initiatives. Therefore, The Candidate Must Possess Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Guide And Motivate Their Team.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry: Mayo Clinic Is A Leading Healthcare Organization, And The Vice Chair Of Enterprise Architecture Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry, Including Emerging Trends, Technologies, And Regulations.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Role Of Vice Chair Of Enterprise Architecture Requires The Ability To Think Strategically And Develop Long-Term Plans For The Organization's Enterprise Architecture.
