  1. Provide exceptional care for animal subjects during surgical procedures, including pre and post-operative care.
  2. Assist with research projects by performing a variety of technical procedures, such as administering medications and collecting samples.
  3. Collaborate with surgeons and researchers to develop and refine surgical techniques.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of animal procedures, treatments, and observations.
  5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and protocols related to animal research.
  6. Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of animal subjects, identifying and reporting any abnormalities or concerns.
  7. Assist in the training and supervision of other veterinary technicians and research staff.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  9. Continuously stay updated on new research and advancements in the field of veterinary medicine.
  10. Demonstrate a compassionate and professional attitude towards both animal subjects and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Veterinary Technology Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Veterinary Technologist (Cvt) Or Veterinary Technician (Cvt) From A Recognized Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Surgical Research Setting, Preferably In A Veterinary Hospital Or Clinic.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Surgical Techniques, Medical Terminology, And Laboratory Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Collaborative Team Environment.
