
Veterinary Technologist - Radiology

- Perform advanced imaging techniques such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans on animal patients.
- Assist veterinarians in interpreting imaging results and providing recommendations for treatment.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of all imaging procedures and results.
- Monitor animal patients during imaging procedures and provide comfort and care as needed.
- Collaborate with other members of the veterinary team to ensure the best possible care for animal patients.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Educate and communicate with clients about imaging procedures and results.
- Handle and restrain animals for imaging procedures.
- Assist with other veterinary duties as needed.

Bachelor's Degree In Veterinary Technology Or A Related Field
Certification As A Veterinary Technician (Cvt) Or Registered Veterinary Technician (Rvt)
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Radiology Or Imaging Setting
Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Radiology Equipment, Including X-Ray, Ultrasound, And Mri Machines
Strong Understanding Of Animal Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As The Ability To Accurately Interpret Radiographs And Other Imaging Results.
