  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction surveys.
  14. Attend conferences, workshops, and other educational opportunities to stay current on advancements in the field of vascular surgery.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Vascular Surgeon Must Have A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Board-Certified In Vascular Surgery By The American Board Of Surgery Or The American Board Of Thoracic Surgery.

  • Residency And Fellowship Training: Candidates Must Have Completed A Residency In General Surgery And A Fellowship In Vascular Surgery From An Accredited Training Program.

  • State Medical License: A Valid And Unrestricted Medical License Is Required To Practice As A Vascular Surgeon At Mayo Clinic.

  • Experience: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Vascular Surgery, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Surgeries And Patient Outcomes. Experience In Academic Research And Teaching Is Also Preferred.
