  1. Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures under the supervision of a urologist to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of urological conditions in female patients.
  2. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies needed for urological procedures, ensuring they are properly sterilized and functioning correctly.
  3. Educate patients on the purpose, process, and potential risks of urological procedures, while also addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  4. Document and maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans, in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  5. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
  6. Monitor patient vital signs, reactions, and symptoms during procedures, and report any abnormalities or concerns to the physician.
  7. Assist in the management of patient flow, scheduling appointments, and obtaining necessary authorizations for procedures and tests.
  8. Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in urology techniques, technology, and treatments to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  9. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including proper disposal of hazardous materials and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
  10. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor, promoting a positive and caring environment for patients and their families.
  11. Participate in training and education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, and maintain required certifications and licenses.
  12. Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality, following all HIPAA regulations and guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Urology Or Surgical Technology.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Urology Technician In A Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Urological Procedures And Equipment, Including Cystoscopes, Ultrasound Machines, And Catheters.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Document Patient Information And Assist With Procedures.
