
Transfusion Medicine Pathologist
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Transfusion Medicine Pathologist to join our fantastic team at the Mayo Clinic. This is an opportunity to provide cutting-edge care to our patients by utilizing the latest technology and collaborative approaches. As a Transfusion Medicine Pathologist, you will have a key role in reviewing and interpreting transfusion-related laboratory data and developing and coordinating transfusion medicine services. The ideal candidate will have board certification in Transfusion Medicine and/or Anatomic/Clinical Pathology, as well as fellowship training in Transfusion Medicine. In addition, you should have experience in laboratory management, including the development of laboratory policies and procedures, staff supervision, and quality assurance. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with laboratory personnel, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals in order to coordinate activities that support the care of the transfused patient.
