  1. Develop and implement training programs for lab staff in accordance with Mayo Clinic's standards and procedures.
  2. Conduct training sessions on laboratory operations, techniques, and equipment usage to ensure staff are proficient in their roles.
  3. Evaluate training needs and create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on activities.
  4. Collaborate with department leaders to identify training gaps and develop solutions to address them.
  5. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  6. Stay updated on industry developments and best practices to continuously improve training programs.
  7. Serve as a resource for lab staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  8. Assist in the onboarding process for new lab employees, ensuring they receive proper training and orientation.
  9. Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee progress.
  10. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the lab support services team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Instructional Design, Education, Or Healthcare Administration.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Training Or Educational Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Laboratory Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Laboratory Operations And Processes, Including Safety Protocols, Quality Assurance, And Regulatory Compliance.

  • Strong Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Deliver Training Materials To A Diverse Audience.

  • Proven Ability To Develop And Implement Training Programs, Including Curriculum Design, Assessment Methods, And Evaluation Strategies.
