Job Description

At Mayo Clinic, we are passionate about providing our patients with the best care possible. We are currently looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team and help ensure our technology remains up-to-date and functioning properly. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with network administration, hardware, and software maintenance, as well as a strong understanding of customer service techniques.

  1. Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware and software.
  2. Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software.
  3. Assist in the development and implementation of IT security policies and procedures.
  4. Assist in the implementation of new technologies and systems.
  5. Respond to technical inquiries and incidents from end users.
  6. Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  7. Provide technical assistance and training to end users.
  8. Create and maintain user accounts, passwords, and other related security protocols.
  9. Document technical procedures and processes for future reference.
  10. Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements.
