  1. Lead and manage a team of Pathologist Assistants in the Surgical Pathology Department, ensuring high-quality and timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.
  2. Utilize expertise in pathology to accurately and efficiently assist with the diagnosis of patients.
  3. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
  4. Develop and implement efficient and effective processes to improve the overall functioning of the department.
  5. Train and mentor new team members, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  6. Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure continuous improvement.
  7. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of pathology and incorporate them into daily practices.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following all safety and infection control protocols.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a positive and compassionate experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Pathology, Biology, Or Related Field.

  • Certification As A Pathologists' Assistant (Pa) Or American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Board Of Certification (Boc) For Pathologists' Assistant.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working As A Pathologists' Assistant In A Surgical Pathology Setting.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Pathologists' Assistants.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Pathologists, Laboratory Staff, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
