- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Plant, water, and fertilize flowers, shrubs, and trees to ensure a visually appealing and healthy landscape.
- Monitor and control weeds, pests, and other potential hazards to maintain a safe environment.
- Collaborate with fellow groundskeepers and other team members to plan and execute landscaping projects.
- Keep accurate records of tasks completed and materials used.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients, visitors, and staff.
- Respond promptly to any landscaping or environmental emergencies.
- Communicate any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Mayo Clinic to the community.
- Adhere to all Mayo Clinic policies and procedures.

Experience In Landscaping And Groundskeeping: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Landscaping And Groundskeeping, Including Knowledge Of Proper Maintenance Techniques For Lawns, Gardens, And Other Outdoor Areas.
Knowledge Of Safety Procedures: Groundskeepers Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols To Ensure The Well-Being Of Themselves And Others While Working With Equipment And Chemicals.
Physical Stamina: This Job Requires Physical Strength And Endurance To Perform Tasks Such As Lifting Heavy Objects, Operating Machinery, And Working Outdoors In Various Weather Conditions.
