1. Design and implement cloud solutions that meet the needs of the organization, while adhering to industry best practices and security standards.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cloud computing needs and provide technical guidance and support.
3. Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, including but not limited to virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
4. Monitor and optimize cloud performance, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions as needed.
5. Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their adoption.
6. Lead and participate in the planning, testing, and deployment of cloud-based applications and services.
7. Develop and maintain documentation of cloud infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
8. Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud computing, providing advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
9. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the successful delivery of cloud services.
10. Train and mentor junior cloud engineers and other team members as needed.
11. Maintain a high level of security and data protection within the cloud environment.
12. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide updates, recommendations, and solutions.
13. Continuously assess and improve the organization's cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
14. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents in a timely manner.
15. Adhere to Mayo Clinic's policies, procedures, and standards for quality and compliance.
