- Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients and their families to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide supportive counseling and crisis intervention to patients and families in the SOS/ROVR program.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Connect patients and families with appropriate community resources and support services.
- Advocate for patients' rights and needs, ensuring they receive the necessary care and services.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the SOS/ROVR program.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress.
- Stay up-to-date on social work best practices and regulations to provide the highest quality of care to patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on coping strategies, self-care, and community resources.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice in all interactions with patients and their families.
- Collaborate with insurance companies and other agencies to ensure patients receive the necessary coverage and resources for their treatment.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the Mayo Clinic and the SOS/ROVR program.
Master's Degree In Social Work: To Be Eligible For The Lmsw Designation, A Candidate Must Have A Master's Degree In Social Work From An Accredited University. This Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In Social Work Theory, Research, And Practice.
State Licensure: An Lmsw, Sos/Rovr At Mayo Clinic Must Hold A Valid And Current Social Work License In The State Where They Will Be Working. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Necessary Requirements And Has Been Deemed Competent To Practice Social Work In That Particular State.
Specialized Training: Mayo Clinic May Require Specialized Training Or Certification In Areas Such As Trauma-Informed Care, Crisis Intervention, Or Family Therapy.
