
Senior IT Analyst Programmer
Mayo Clinic is seeking an experienced Senior IT Analyst Programmer to join our team and support our advanced technology infrastructure. As a Senior IT Analyst Programmer, you will be responsible for managing the design, development, modification, and implementation of complex software programming applications. You will create, maintain, and optimize software applications to support the end-to-end, digital-first technology initiatives and services of the Mayo Clinic.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and at least 5+ years of experience in software programming and development. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, is a creative problem solver, and can develop innovative solutions. You must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a collaborative team environment, and the ability to think outside the box. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, modify, and implement complex software programming applications.
- Create, maintain, and optimize software applications to support the end-to-end, digital-first technology initiatives and services of the Mayo Clinic.
- Remain up-to-date on the latest software development technologies and best practices.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex software problems.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure the successful implementation of software applications.
- Troubleshoot software application issues and provide technical support as needed.
- Ensure software applications are secure and compliant with industry standards.
- Prepare reports and documentation to communicate progress and results.
- Participate in the software development life cycle from concept to delivery.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
