Senior Building Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a Senior Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the general maintenance of our building and grounds, including repairs, preventive maintenance and other related duties. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of five years of experience in building maintenance and general construction, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of organizational and problem solving skills. Additionally, you should have strong knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities:

-Perform general maintenance of the building and grounds, including repairs, preventive maintenance and other related duties.

-Ensure building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry are functioning properly.

-Perform routine inspections and repair work on the building’s exterior and interior, including walls, windows, doors, and other areas as needed.

-Conduct periodic safety and security inspections and update building management systems accordingly.

-Maintain relationships with outside vendors and contractors as needed.

-Troubleshoot and resolve building maintenance issues in a timely manner.

-Support other building maintenance staff, as needed.

-Maintain records of maintenance activities and keep inventory of supplies.

-Comply with all safety regulations and industry standards.
