- Provide respiratory therapy services to patients at Mayo Clinic, according to established protocols and standards of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Evaluate and assess patients' respiratory status, including monitoring vital signs, conducting pulmonary function tests, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, such as oxygen therapy, bronchodilator therapy, and chest physiotherapy.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques, medication management, and disease management.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and response to treatments, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in respiratory therapy technology and treatments, and implement new techniques and protocols as appropriate.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Act as a resource to other healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support on respiratory care practices.
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to maintain licensure and enhance professional development.
- Represent the Mayo Clinic brand by providing exceptional patient care and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or A Related Field.
Current State Licensure Or Certification As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Clinical Respiratory Therapy Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Respiratory Therapy Equipment And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Multidisciplinary Team.
