  1. Provide direct respiratory therapy services to patients under the supervision of a physician.
  2. Assess patients' respiratory needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  3. Administer respiratory treatments and medications as prescribed.
  4. Monitor and evaluate patients' response to therapy and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  5. Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  6. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and provide comprehensive care for patients.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
  9. Stay up-to-date with advances in respiratory therapy practices and equipment.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback for process improvements.
  11. Assist with the training and supervision of respiratory therapy students and new staff.
  12. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
  13. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  15. Attend continuing education programs and conferences to maintain licensure and enhance knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field

  • Certification By The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc)

  • Current State License To Practice As A Respiratory Therapist

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Various Respiratory Modalities, Including Mechanical Ventilation And Pulmonary Function Testing
