  1. Conduct independent research studies and experiments related to medical imaging and machine learning.
  2. Collaborate with Dr. Korfiatis and other team members to develop and implement research projects.
  3. Analyze and interpret research data using advanced statistical methods.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in the field of medical research.
  5. Write research proposals, reports, and publications for peer-reviewed journals.
  6. Present research findings at conferences and other scientific meetings.
  7. Assist in the preparation of grant proposals to secure funding for research projects.
  8. Mentor and supervise junior research staff and students.
  9. Maintain accurate records of research data and ensure compliance with all ethical and safety standards.
  10. Participate in team meetings and discussions to contribute ideas and insights for research projects.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and institutions to facilitate interdisciplinary research.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve research methods and techniques to optimize research outcomes.
  13. Contribute to the development of new technologies and methods for medical imaging and machine learning.
  14. Work towards achieving the overall goals and objectives of the research team and Mayo Clinic.
