  1. Greet and welcome patients and their families in a professional and friendly manner.
  2. Assist patients with the registration process, ensuring all necessary information is accurately and efficiently collected.
  3. Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services.
  4. Answer any questions or concerns patients may have regarding their registration and billing.
  5. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and timely registration process.
  7. Collect and process co-payments and other payments as required.
  8. Update and maintain patient records with accurate and current information.
  9. Follow established protocols and procedures for patient registration.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a professional and welcoming environment for patients.
  12. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
  13. Keep up-to-date with all necessary training and certifications.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, Demonstrating Basic Knowledge And Understanding Of General Office Procedures And Computer Skills.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Interact With Patients, Coworkers, And Healthcare Professionals Is Essential For A Registration Rep. This Includes Excellent Customer Service Skills And The Ability To Handle Difficult Situations With Empathy And Professionalism.

  • Previous Experience In Healthcare Or Customer Service: While Not Required, Previous Experience In A Healthcare Or Customer Service Setting Is Highly Desirable For This Position. It Demonstrates An Understanding Of Healthcare Terminology And Procedures, As Well As The Ability To Provide Exceptional Service To Patients.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: As A Registration Rep, You Will Be Responsible For Accurately Inputting Patient Information And Verifying Insurance Coverage. Therefore, Attention To Detail And A Strong Focus On Accuracy Is Crucial To Ensure Patient Records Are Correct And Billing Is Processed Correctly.

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team: This Position May Require Working Independently At Times, But Also Collaborating With Other Team Members To Ensure Smooth And Efficient Operations. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Work Well In Both Settings And Be Adaptable To Changing Priorities.
