  1. Coordinate and facilitate the procurement of organs for transplant patients.
  2. Work closely with transplant teams, donor organizations, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient transplant procedures.
  3. Provide compassionate and expert care to transplant patients and their families.
  4. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and prioritize the needs of transplant patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of transplant procedures and patient information.
  6. Educate patients and their families on the transplant process and post-transplant care.
  7. Monitor patients for any post-procedure complications and provide appropriate interventions.
  8. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized transplant plans for patients.
  9. Stay up-to-date on the latest transplant protocols, procedures, and advancements in the field.
  10. Serve as a resource and mentor for other healthcare professionals on transplant procedures and protocols.
  11. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in regards to transplant procurement.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care for transplant patients.
  13. Maintain communication and collaborate with other healthcare facilities to coordinate patient transfers for transplant procedures.
  14. Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and healthcare team members.
  15. Provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the transplant process.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Transplant Procurement Or Related Field.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited School Of Nursing.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Transplant Procedures, Immunosuppressant Therapy, And Donor/Recipient Matching.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Multidisciplinary Teams.
