  1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to critically ill patients in the Surgery/Trauma ICU.
  2. Monitor and assess patient's condition, document changes, and communicate with healthcare team.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
  6. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  7. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  8. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and respond to emergency situations.
  9. Continuously assess and improve nursing practices to ensure high-quality care.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  11. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
  12. Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  13. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  14. Demonstrate professionalism and positive attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Program

  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Intensive Care Unit (Icu) Or Trauma Setting

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications

  • Additional Certifications Such As Critical Care Registered Nurse (Ccrn) Or Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (Tcrn) Preferred.
