Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing: A Registered Nurse Study Coordinator At Mayo Clinic Must Possess At Least A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, With A Preference For Those With A Master's Degree. This Educational Background Ensures A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory And Practice, As Well As Advanced Knowledge In Patient Care And Research Methodologies.

  • Active Rn License In The State Of Practice: Candidates Must Hold An Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse License In The State Where The Mayo Clinic Facility Is Located. This License Is Required To Practice As A Nurse And Oversee Patient Care In A Clinical Research Setting.

  • Prior Experience In Clinical Research: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research Is Preferred For This Role. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Study Protocols, Data Collection And Management, And Regulatory Compliance. Candidates With Prior Experience As A Study Coordinator Or Nurse In A Research Setting Will Have An Advantage.

  • Strong Organizational And Communication Skills: As A Study Coordinator, The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Organizational Skills To Manage Multiple Research Studies And Coordinate With Various Stakeholders. Effective Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Also Essential For This Role To Ensure Clear Communication With Study Participants, Physicians, And Other Team Members.

  • Attention To Detail And Critical Thinking Ability: The Role Of A Study Coordinator Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate Data Collection And Adherence To Study Protocols.
