Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution: This Is The Minimum Educational Requirement For A Registered Nurse At Mayo Clinic, With A Focus On Pediatric Nursing.
Current Rn License In The State Of Practice: All Rns At Mayo Clinic Must Hold An Active And Unrestricted License In The State Where They Are Employed.
Pediatric Nursing Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Nursing Is Required For This Role, With A Preference For Experience In A Hospital Or Clinic Setting.
Bls And Pals Certifications: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Certifications Are Required For All Rns At Mayo Clinic, With A Focus On Pediatric-Specific Training.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Pediatric Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Team Members Is Essential For Success In This Role.
