
Registered Nurse – Residential Addictions Unit

- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients struggling with addictions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' physical and mental health status, as well as their progress in recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ensure safe and effective use.
- Educate patients and their families on addiction treatment, relapse prevention, and healthy coping strategies.
- Document patient care and progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including infection control and privacy laws.
- Continuously evaluate and improve nursing practices to ensure the highest level of care for patients.
- Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills in addiction treatment.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with community resources and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to promote a positive and supportive environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
Current And Unrestricted Rn Licensure In The State Of Practice
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Addiction Treatment Setting
Cpr Certification And Strong Clinical Skills
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families
