
Registered Nurse - Post Transplant BMT/CART Coordinator - RN

- Coordinate and manage the care of patients undergoing transplant and cellular therapy procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor and assess patient progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the medical team.
- Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs are met.
- Educate patients and their families about the transplant and cellular therapy process, including potential risks and side effects.
- Coordinate pre-transplant evaluations and post-transplant follow-up appointments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and interventions.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families throughout the transplant journey.
- Collaborate with community resources to ensure patients have access to necessary support services.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in transplant and cellular therapy to provide evidence-based care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and outcomes.
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to other nursing staff.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Program.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Transplant Or Hematology/Oncology Setting.
Knowledge Of Post-Transplant And Car-T Cell Therapy Protocols And Procedures.
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Multidisciplinary Teams And Patients/Families.
