  1. Coordinate and manage the care of patients undergoing transplant and cellular therapy procedures.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Monitor and assess patient progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the medical team.
  4. Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs are met.
  5. Educate patients and their families about the transplant and cellular therapy process, including potential risks and side effects.
  6. Coordinate pre-transplant evaluations and post-transplant follow-up appointments.
  7. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
  8. Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and interventions.
  9. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families throughout the transplant journey.
  10. Collaborate with community resources to ensure patients have access to necessary support services.
  11. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in transplant and cellular therapy to provide evidence-based care.
  12. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and outcomes.
  13. Assist with quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  14. Serve as a resource and mentor to other nursing staff.
  15. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Program.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Transplant Or Hematology/Oncology Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Post-Transplant And Car-T Cell Therapy Protocols And Procedures.

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Multidisciplinary Teams And Patients/Families.
